Being judged on outer appearances
Isn’t it funny and scary how easy it is for people to form an opinion on one’s outer appearances? A man wearing colorful clothes and thick makeup? Oh dear! Something must be wrong.
“Don’t judge a book by its cover,” comes to mind. There is always an underlying explanation that will shatter your illusions.
I am glad you enjoyed the story, Patty. In hindsight, it was a funny situation to be in. One I wouldn’t like to repeat :)
Most of the time I seem to be invisible. It can be nice and frustrating.
