Celebrating Earth Day — A Community Writing Project Idea
Are you interested in participating in an Earth Day Project on 22nd April 2022?
I used to do a community Earth Day project with my middle schoolers every year. So what to do this year as I’m not currently teaching?
This morning my Earth Day ‘light bulb’ switched on — a Medium writing project. Why don’t we celebrate Earth Day 2022 as a Medium community using our passion for writing as a tool for change?
The aim is to make people aware of the importance of investing in our future by writing a poem, a fiction story, or an article.
Together we make a collective difference.
If you decide to participate in the project respond to this post with ‘I want to take part in your project,’ or, something similar. I hope for 30 participants; however, I will be glad if a couple of people participate too.
“Why only 30 people?” you may ask.
I am going to celebrate Earth Day with you by reading or listening to your story. Thirty writer’s stories is a manageable project for me to handle.
