Chicken Puff Pastry Snacks

A savory chicken pasty snack recipe that can easily be turned into a light meal.

In this recipe, I used store-bought puff pastry and leftover chicken to make puffy chicken snacks.

It is a simple and easy recipe that you can easily be adapted by adding your favorite herbs, spices, or ingredients.

Ingredients:

1 roll of store-bought puff pastry
150 grams of cooked chicken (shredded)
2 tablespoons of cream cheese
2 teaspoons of Basil pesto
a dash of Italian herb mix
salt and pepper to taste.

Process:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Cut the puff pastry into small rectangles (8 x 6 cm).
  3. Mix the chicken, cream cheese, pesto, and spices together.
  4. Add a tablespoon of chicken mixture in the middle of one side of the pastry rectangle. Fold the other side over. Seal the pasty’s edges by pressing down on them with a fork.
  5. Line a baking plate with greased baking paper. Add the chicken pasties. leave about 3 cm between them.
