Chutney, Apricot, and Soy Chicken Recipe

I love sweet and tangy food recipes for meat (chicken and pork). In this recipe, apricot jam, chutney, oil, apple cider vinegar, and soy sauce are used to make a marinade.

Add garlic, cayenne pepper, chilies, or Tabasco sauce for some heat to the marinade. It is a sweet, tangy, and spicy paradise explosion on the taste buds.

Ingredients:

6 chicken pieces or pork neck steaks
2 tablespoons spicy chutney of your choice
2 tablespoons apricot jam or sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
2 garlic cloves (minced)
Cayenne pepper, chili powder, or Tabasco sauce (to taste)
Salt and pepper (to taste)

Process:

  1. Mix all the marinade ingredients together in a glass bowl.
  2. Add the chicken or pork steak pieces and turn them around to coat all sides.
