Coaching Connections
Life coaching helps students understand and appreciate themselves.
My previous school believes in coaching as a tool to empower students. I was a coach for some of my students. In the beginning, I struggled a bit till I attended a life coaching course.
Apparently, I am a natural coach according to my coaching mentor. I guess my struggles as a sensitive bullied teenager tempered my personality to be a supportive coach.
I like to learn more about every student’s passions and interests. Through coaching, I connect with them and aim to help them make sense of their problems and challenges.
The poem below is how I envision coaching.
Coaching Connections
Coaching is coolness
connecting creatively
a spark flows, igniting.
Medium for energy flow
verbal exchange enlights
searching souls connect.
Coaching is;
an art of caring compassion.
an art of explicit exploring.
an art of gentle genuineness.
an art of constructive creation.
