Depression Journey
Hi Marianne, thanks for reading and commenting on my series of unemployment poems.
The depression started because I felt suddenly useless because I lived for my work — it was my life.
As you might have noticed from reading the unemployment series of poems, I did get better. A friend of mine suffers from chronic depression.
Now that I experienced it myself, I can empathize better with his circumstances.
I just hope that writing about my own experience is helpful to someone in a similar unemployment situation.
