Destiny’s Realm

Will we ever understand?

The enigma of life’s vast unknown, knowns,
where shadows linger and mysteries are sown.
Whispers of time pass, a brother’s legacy fades,
leaving behind a swirling void that cascades.

What’s life’s purpose, if meaning is concealed?
Where understanding hides in big abyss, unclear.
Like a lost soul wandering behind a dark shield,
yearning to grasp, what was forever held dear.

In dark depths of sorrow, we search for solace,
reason absorbed by a dark miasmic mollusk.
In grief, I ponder my destiny in this realm
How fragile, how fleeting, our mortal helm.

Do we truly comprehend this fleeting breath?
Or do we wander, lost, until our own death?
