Health Benefits of Mangoes and Papayas

A couple of beneficial health reasons for adding these fruits to your diet.

Mangoes and papayas are delicious tropical fruits rich in healthy nutrients. Both these fruits contain antioxidants and vitamin C which is good for boosting the immune system.

They are naturally sweet fruits rich in fiber that help the digestive system and prevent bloating and may lower cholesterol levels.

Health benefits of mangoes:

  1. They contain Vitamin A and beta-carotene, which are both important for maintaining healthy vision and skin.
  2. Mangoes are rich in Vitamin C which helps with fighting off infections and keeping your skin hydrated.

Health benefits of papayas:

  1. Papayas contain the enzyme papain, which aids digestion by breaking down proteins more effectively. This can be especially helpful for people who have difficulty digesting protein.
  2. Papayas provide many nutritious vitamins (A, C, and E), minerals (copper, magnesium, and potassium).

I eat the fruits raw as a snack or include them in recipes.
