I can identify with so many of your reasons for leaving the US. I left South Africa 20 odd years ago due to violence, crime and not feeling safe anymore. I lived in the UK for 5 years and now in Germany. The health care is fantastic here. I am making progress learning the language. I understand more than I speak. I have been to Spain many times for holidays. I would eventually want to retire their. I guess I will need to learn Spanish soon.
