I can sympathize with your childhood trauma. My father believed you eat everything on your plate. For me, the struggle was onions, raw onions, or not thoroughly cooked onions. I can't stomach it and it makes me very nauseous. I had to eat my onions.

One day when I got sick after a meal my mom asked what the problem was. I explained about the thick-cut onions and their effect on me. From then onwards made me meatballs with very few finely grated and well-fried onions in them. That I could get down.

I am Type O-negative blood and a meat eater, which I now understand. I will investigate the blood type diets.
