I’ll Be Away For Five Days

Due to a scheduled operation on Friday, 19th July 2024

Dear friends and readers,

I have a pan sinus and reconstructive nose operation scheduled for Friday morning. I’m writing to let you know that I will not be around for about 5 days as I will be recovering in hospital.

I most likely will be knocked out for the first 2 days by the pain medication I will receive due to the nature of the operation.

I had all the pre-operation check-ups earlier today. I joked with the nursing staff and doctors. Now, knowing myself it’s all symptoms of nervousness.

I know it is a minor operation and I will be okay. But, hey, I usually go slightly silly and bonkers when nervous 🙄

I’m letting you know that I won’t be able to publish stories submitted to my publications (A Taste for Life & The Poetry Club) for about 5 days or so.
I will publish stories whenever it is possible.

On that note, I scheduled A Taste for Life’s Weekly Writing Prompts, Edition 30, to self-publish on Monday, 22nd July around 03:00.
