Magic Dust
a poem about having loved and lost with a twist.
It’s for eternity you said, a certainty.
A promise to love me.
On clouds I walked with bounds of joy
skipping on fluffy-puffy cotton candy
hand-in-hand dreamingly entangled
leaping and screaming joy!
Marriage it wasn’t. Not your or my fault
It just happened, only fairy dust is left
No, I’m not sad, it’s still magic madness
Cos, we’re best friends for forever ever
till death do us part.
