My mom grew tomatoes, 1 acre filled with tomatoes to be precise. She added compost from the farm to the soil the tomatoes were grown in. She also made little support nets for the tomato plants to grow through. When the tomato fruits were ripe they will lie on the nets suspended above the grounds.

Those strawberries will get juicer. Next season you will have lots of them.
