John Hansen tagged me in his story My Top 5 Posts in April, in response to a challenge by Keeley Schroder. It stimulated my curiosity to see how my stories are doing.

Below is a summary of my top 5 stories for April 2023 based on the number of views.

Number 1: Creamy Potato Casserole, 10 400 views:
To my surprise, this story for a hearty, cheesy, creamy, and tasty potato casserole had a whopping 9.5K views this morning at 09:00.

I had to check that figure a couple of times as it was posted only on the 28th of April. In the last 4 hours, it got an additional 800 000 views. Wow! If I ever write a recipe book I will need to include this one for sure.

Ninety-seven percent of the views were external, and the story earned some pennies.

I have noticed before that some of my recipe stories get a lot of external views. A couple of questions jumped to mind.
