Negative and controlling people can make one's life miserable. I do love the message highlighted above - don't take revenge for you will become them.

I recently, quit a job due to controlling and negative people. The urge to do what they did was so strong but luckily I did not go there, for as you say, I don't want to become them. A powerful message in this great poem.
