One-line Poem: Delight Is…

Walking in a pink snowstorm.

A one-line phrase about delight:

Pink aromatic snowflakes floating featherlight darting in the air around me.

I walked down this road in the Japanese garden in my little village on my way to the supermarket.

A gusty wind stirred the treetops as I passed the pink blossoming trees. Blossoms started darting in the wind around me.

It was a surreal feeling like I was walking in a pink snowstorm. Blossoms riding the gusts swirling about like snowflakes. Alas, eventually they succumbed to gravity and floated to the earth.

This one-line poem was inspired by A-Word-A-Day prompts for April 2022 — Day 27 (Gravity) published in Promptly Written. Thanks, Christine.
