Will The Romanian Prime Minister’s AI Advisor Be Useful?
I would like to hear your thoughts on this world-first idea.
Romania’s Prime Minister, Nicolae Ciuca, appointed an Artificial Intelligence (AI) adviser named ‘Ion’ as his “honorary adviser.”
This is the first time AI technology has been used by a leader of a country. Ion’s goal is to keep the government up-to-date “in real time of Romanians’ proposals and wishes,” Ciucă said. Alternatively, Romanians can submit their ideas directly via a dedicated website.
This is a pioneering move that I found very interesting. Ion will use data to generate priority reports for Mr. Ciucă and his staff. This will be useful information for the government.
As a non-technical person, I was wondering how Ion will decide which issues are more important than others.
