Sun Dance

Sunlight makes me feel alive and washes my cobwebs away.

Sun rays dance in a gloomy gamut sky.
Cheery birds tweeting miracle melodies
in my heart. Waiting to be deftly denied.

Wispy curls doing a surreal slow dance,
a frosty sparkling misty mirror reflection.
My soul comes alive pierced by sun lances.

Warmness spreads — an internal creation.
Inner being: jumping joy and happiness,
a gleeful swift samba rhythm celebration!

Internal dusty cobwebs washed away
disappearing dark stormy clouds abide
life’s cheer and challenges, a new ballet.

Author’s note:

I am a sunshine kid. Sunlight has the power to boost my mood and make me feel alive.

When I feel the warm sun rays on my skin I want to sing, dance, and leap with joy. It is as if all my internal cobwebs are magically washed away.
