Sunny rays
sky dancing
in her hair.

dancing glee
in the yards
between vines

energy,
you and me.
Sparks flowing.

A tricube poem can be seen as ‘mathematical’ poetry introduced by Phillip Larrea. The rules for writing a tricube are:

  1. three syllables in each line of the poem
  2. three lines in each stanza, and
  3. three stanzas in each poem.
