A free verse poem — a spicy curry I do like.

Some coriander, chili,
ginger, garlic, and cumin too.

Curry spices;
and some turmeric,
to mention but a few.
An onion-tomato base,
with some garam masala too.

A spicy spices,
blend blooms on my tongue,
tinkling taste buds — come alive too.

Mouth on fire;
a firefly awesomeness,
senses sashaying — soomba’ing,
a vivid vindaloo curry taste explosion too.

This poem was inspired by a meal I had in a restaurant with a buddy, and A-Word-A-Day prompts for April 2022 — Day 19 (Bloom) published in Promptly Written. Thanks, Christine.
