Teaching any subject (arts or science) you need passion, and as a teacher, you should aim at making a difference in each student’s life.
I understand your reasoning, Susan. Thanks for commenting and sharing your view. Teaching using the same strategy for each child doesn’t work because each child is different.
I had teachers that taught mathematics, for example, using only one strategy. They got frustrated and angry because the students “did not understand.”
I demonstrated to the teacher how coming from a different angle (from the student’s point of view) helps to get the basic skills across to help higher-level thinking.
