Tell me…
A poem about love and a message I don’t want to hear.
Tell me;
the azure sky is enchanting
walking snugly entangled
on golden-washed crystal
beach sand star-like sparkling
in the cozy warm sun-drenched
lazy late afternoon.
Don’t tell me;
what you think I want to hear.
Don’t trick me,
into doing what you want dear
rather keep on hugging me.
Tell me;
the loud soothing ocean waves
are reassuringly wrapping around
us like a warm heartfelt hug.
Don’t tell me;
our love spirals out of control
falling face-first into crystal
sharp-edged sparkling sand
rather hug and hold me tight
one last time.
tell me;
our love was an anchored
ocean ship slowly sailing
purposefully into new unknowns.
don’t tell me;
with a cryptic cutting
sharp-blunt searing SMS
later tonight that
our love was never meant to be.
