The Golden Pot Glitters

A Leprechaun Tried to Trick Me

A funny green, little lopsided leprechaun-fairy-man,
had a sly sense of humor, silly shoemaker man thought me green!

Waving a pointy hat at me, wiggling his lu-chor-pan body, and wickedly said “You wanna know, where I hid a pot full of golden shiny coins?”

At the end of a rainy rainbow on a warm summer’s day, or, is it at a
beginning of an icy cold winter rainbow dusting crystal snow?

Smiling coyly tapping a nail gently into a shiny shoe, he simpered at me.

Nah, I said, I’m not interested in a pot of gold or glowing golden coins,

You want to lepra-chant me? — go away! All that tinkles don’t bring joy!
