Try And Stop Me…

What are you grateful for today?

It’s Friday, 12th Augustus 2022. I’m grateful that I have fully recovered from my COVID-19 infection.

For the last 2 weeks, I have been in self-isolation. Today, I am looking forward to leaving the confines of my apartment and being outside.

I want to sense the wind playing on my face. Smell the outdoor environment and feel the sun on my body. I would like to sit and relax at a bistro and enjoy a coffee with a delicious piece of cake. Socializing face-to-face with friends will be something to look forward to!

Just try and stop me! I’ll drag you outside as well and force you to sing and dance with me. Spoiler alert — I’m not the world’s best dancer and singer. It might be agony!

What are you looking forward to today or this coming weekend? Let me know in the comments.

This is story 60/60 of the 60-day writing challenge inspired by Alain Polo.
