Walking About At Kings Cross Train Station London

I realized why I am grateful this morning.

I walked to Kings Cross Railway station this morning early. I was in desperate need of a coffee.

On my way, I saw homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk, at entrances to doorways, etc. One or two asked me for some, “spare change,” or, “do you have a fag (cigarette) for me mate.”

Returning to my hotel room I was overwhelmed by a sense of gratitude. I am glad for being alive and having enough to live a comfortable life. I’m glad that I don’t have to live on the street with no one worrying about me.

What makes you grateful this morning? Let me know in the comments.
