James and Mark sit in their bedroom looking at each other’s luminous eyes. What happened they both wondered silently.

“Ow, my head aches like hell,” Mark says. “Yours?”

“Yes, it is throbbing. Did we drink a lot last night?” James asks.

“Yeah. Oh, I remember we had a lot of vodka on the rocks last night to celebrate our exam results.”

“Mark, how many did we have?”

“At least two-liter bottles between us.”

“So much,” James asks. “That will explain the hangovers we have. But what about our luminous eyes?”

“I have no idea,” Mark replies. “Maybe we did something strange.”

“Maybe.”

“We will be able to think more clearly after a bottle of flat coke. Mom says the sugar helps with a hangover.”

“We will solve this mystery then. Let’s go to my house. Both my parents are at work and we have 2 litters of Coke in the fridge,” James suggests. “We can investigate afterward.”
