Missing Reading Glasses

A poem.

A pair of glasses, lost in a hazy fray,
little did he know, where they lay.
With furrowed brow and eyes cast low,
They searched high and low, to and fro.

Books were scattered, office papers askew,
But the glasses remained hidden from view.
Oh, the irony of this comical clown sight,
For on his forehead, bathed in hidden light
the spectacles perched with quiet glee,
for everyone to see and smile, but yee.

Inspired by a comment from Bernie Pullen on a poem written last month.
