Yadda, yadda — whine,
lots to say, saying nothing
— whining folks daily.

High-pitch sharp noises.
Fingernails on a blackboard,
bouncing in my head.

Moan, moan, whine all day,
Nothing better to do, love?
Positive problem?

Negativity,
too much of it in the world.
Brighten up. Life’s great!

Change the way you think.
Chronic whining wears me down.
Positive thoughts — yeah?

I deal with negative people a lot during working hours. They love to moan and whine. This is wrong, that is wrong. This or that person did something to upset them.

I wish I have a magic wand so they can see the positive things around them. A lovely smile from someone, A beautiful flower. Perhaps counting their blessings.

A Senryū poem’s structure is similar to a Haiku’s format. It has the same amount of lines in the poem and syllable count in each line (5/7/5 syllables for lines 1, 2 & 3).
