You Are The One

When I was lonely,
You comforted me.
When I was lost,
You showed me the way.

You,
were the one
walking invisibly next to me.
Holding my hand when no one else cared.

When I was sad
You comforted me
nursing my pains away.

Life’s burning sand
left searing marks.
You were the one
that carried me
soothing my blisters.

You,
are the one!

The one that loves me for who I am.

You are the one,
that is always by my side
through life’s stormy seasons.

You’re the one that gives me hope
Every minute of every day for the rest of my life.

You are the Alpha and the Omega,
the Beginning and End — I will always be in need of You.
